Oceania Rust Servers

Oceania's Rust servers are hosted primarily in Sydney and Melbourne, serving players across Australia and New Zealand. Despite being a smaller market, the OCE Rust community is active and loyal — wipe days draw strong player numbers and the community atmosphere on many OCE servers is notably close-knit compared to higher-population regions.

Geography makes region choice critical for OCE players. Connecting to a US server from Australia typically means 180–250 ms ping — a serious handicap in any PvP encounter. European servers can be worse at 280–350 ms. A Sydney or Melbourne server keeps OCE players at 10–40 ms, where skill is the only deciding factor.
