Rust Premium Servers

Rust Premium servers carry the official Facepunch Premium tag — a verification system designed to filter out cheaters and deliver a cleaner multiplayer experience. To join a Premium server, your Rust Steam inventory must hold $15 or more in Rust items, which acts as a lightweight barrier against throwaway cheat accounts.

The Premium filter covers a wide variety of server types: vanilla, softcore, modded and community-run servers that have opted into the system. Premium does not define a specific game mode — it means the server population is less likely to include fresh-account cheaters, resulting in fairer fights and a more stable community.

Premium servers launched as a Facepunch experimental feature and have quickly attracted a dedicated player base looking for a more legitimate competitive environment. Expect mostly vanilla-adjacent gameplay — x1 to x3 rates, monthly or weekly wipes and organised team sizes.
